U.S. Air Force officers revealed what it’s like for service members who refuse the COVID-19 vaccine—and how their treatment is leading to a “manpower crisis” in the military—on the May 6 episode of CHD.TV’s “Friday Roundtable.”

Active-duty Air Force Captains Tanner Lott, Gregg Costin and Chance Pritchard described the military’s “no exceptions” policy to its COVID-19 vaccine mandate and how it affects morale and national security.

They spoke with hosts Polly Tommey, Director of CHD.TV, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) Marketing Manager Aimee Villella, Dr. Meryl Nass and CHD Defender military health writer Pam Long, Army Veteran of the Medical Service Corps.

The service members described an atmosphere of bullying, coercion and pressure on those who refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine, expressing concern that the policy is causing attrition and lowering morale, in turn threatening our national security. They also shared stories of military personnel being put on unpaid leave, stuck overseas and paying thousands of dollars out of pocket to support themselves. Additionally, there are reports of service members committing suicide in the face of pressure and lack of support.

The CHD.TV military roundtable foreshadowed this issue that has now made its way to Congress. Yesterday, Senator Ron Johnson, Senator Ted Cruz and 12 other Senate members announced the “Allowing Military Exemptions, Recognizing Individual Concerns About New Shots (AMERICANS) Act of 2022.” According to a press release from Senator Johnson’s office, “The legislation counters the Biden administration’s efforts to coerce and punish service members who decline the COVID-19 vaccine, and introduces accountability measures in response to DoD efforts to undermine transparency.”

Captain Lott explained how the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) showed massive increases in a variety of medical issues including cancer, heart disease, anxiety, miscarriages and other conditions and illnesses following the COVID-19 vaccine. Pam Long shared the results from DMED 2021 after the rollout showing increases in a variety of diseases and acute and chronic illnesses compared to the DMED from five years earlier including:

Myocarditis increased by 2800%

Cancers (various types) increased between 300-900%

Infertility in both genders increased by 500%

Miscarriages increased by 300%

Neurologic disorders increased by 1000%

Demyelinating disorders increased by 500%

MS increased by 600%

Guilliane barre syndrome increased by 500%

HIV increased by 500%

Pulmonary embolisms increased by 400%

Ms. Long also stated that the mandates are illegal. “What has happened is a fraudulent bait and switch,” she said. CHD board chair and lead counsel Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Meryl Nass, MD explained this “bait and switch” in an August, 2021 article. “The FDA appears to be purposefully tricking American citizens into giving up their right to refuse an experimental product,” they wrote. “While the media has trumpeted that the FDA has approved COVID vaccines, the FDA has not approved the Pfizer BioNTech vaccines, nor any COVID vaccines for the 12- to 15-year age group, nor any booster doses for anyone. And the FDA has not licensed any Moderna vaccine, nor any vaccine from Johnson & Johnson—so the vast majority, if not all, of vaccines available in the U.S. remain unlicensed EUA products.”

Despite service members’ right to refuse experimental vaccines, the military establishment continues to push, displace and punish them for making that choice, according to the panel.

“We have seen a lot of military members already be removed from the force and we stand to lose a lot more,” said Captain Lott. “A lot of military members who’ve worked for their entire careers … stand to lose everything.”
