Fort Bend County (FBC) Judge KP George, FBC Sheriff Eric Fagan, and FBC Behavioral Health Services Dr. Connie Almeida will hold a press conference on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Historic Fort Bend County Courthouse, 401 Jackson St., Richmond, TX 77469, to announce the creation of the “Always Parenting Program” to help to expand services for incarcerated parents in the FBC jail and their minor children.

Last Tuesday, FBC Behavioral Health Services accepted grant funds from the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Second Chance Act addressing the needs of incarcerated parents and their minor children, for the period of October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2025.
