The National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL) 46th Annual Legislative Conference will convene November 29 through December 3 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The annual conference theme is “Forward: Together, Our Actions Impact Change.” Organizers expect over 500 Black State Legislators from across the United States to attend this year's conference to discuss, debate, and determine policies to move the agenda forward to assist and protect the rights of Black, Hispanic, Latino, and other marginalized constituents.

The Executive Committee and Officers of NBCSL will host a press conference sharing the history and purpose of the organization, as well as its approach to legislation going forward to continue serving the constituents in their respective states.

Throughout the conference, NBCSL, “the Voice for the States” will have numerous sessions to discuss issues of importance to marginalized communities including voting rights, gun violence, abortion rights, women’s rights, mental health, and the digital divide in education. Hosted two weeks after a national election, the timing of this conference is critical to the nation.
