Delisa Rose, a bespoke, luxury lingerie brand, designed by Taquiela Wright, has announced its upcoming debut at New York Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2024 season.

Delisa Rose will debut its highly anticipated ‘Experience Collection’ with an assortment of ten innovative designs at New York Fashion Week on September 9th. The collection will be featured at the prestigious, the Bomb Fashion Show presented by Claire Sulmers, CEO and Founder of the iconic Fashion Bomb Daily to promote diversity in the fashion industry. The highly anticipated runway show will be hosted by TV personality, NeNe Leakes, and will showcase ten illustrious designs by Delisa Rose, incorporating provocative fabrics, such as lace, mesh, and chiffon to create unique, bold pieces for any occasion both inside and outside the bedroom. The showcase will take place from 6:00-9:00 PM at Chelsea Industrial, 535 West 28th St, New York, NY 10001.

Crafted to challenge and change the narrative of style, Taquiela birthed Delisa Rose in 2021. As an avant-garde lingerie designer and black woman in tech, Taquiela uses her experience as an engineer in the oil and gas industry, to create geometric shapes, cuts, unique designs, and patterns often not seen in the lingerie space. Her goal is to empower women to embrace their bodies and boost their confidence through designs that embody couture, luxury, and elegance.

Recently featured in the upcoming November issue of Heroes Magazine for her contributions in engineering and her ability to pivot in science, oil, gas, and renewables, Taquiela was also recently nominated for the WIN (Women in Innovation) Award due to her creation of a revolutionary wound care product that she recently developed.
