“I started hosting pink events while I was still in treatment to educate everyone about early African American detection and effective cancer prevention practices. I also wanted to encourage cancer warriors to keep their faith while fighting the greatest battle of their lives. I am truly blessed to have my community supporting me in this endeavor and being a part of the next level of The Pink Awards.” - April Love, Founder and Executive Producer of The Pink Awards.
