Urban South Brewery will host its free Potterfest celebration in honor of Harry Potter’s birthday July 28-29. Potterfest will take place over two days, beginning with a Harry Potter themed Trivia Night on Friday, July 28, at 7:00 p.m. at the Houston taproom. Urban South’s Butterbeer draft and slush will be available in regular and non-alcoholic pours as well as 2 craft cocktails. Throughout the month of July, fans of Harry Potter can enjoy a Hogwarts House Beer Flight as well as Friday Night Flicks featuring the first three Harry Potter films. Potterfest activities will include live entertainment, a divination class, face painting, a bounce house, Diagon Alley vendor market, and more.

“We are so excited to bring the Potterfest celebration to our Houston taproom for the first time ever, ” said Anna Jensen, Director of Houston Operations at Urban South Brewery. “Potterfest will capture the magical charm of the wizarding world and allow Harry Potter fans in Houston a chance to celebrate the iconic character’s birthday.”

Urban South Brewery is dedicated to bringing fun, family-friendly events to its taproom year-round. Potterfest t-shirts will be available for purchase each day of the festival, and special edition glasses will be $10 or $12 with a pour of any core beer or butter beer.
