Father’s Day Weekend fun is in the flight plan for air and space enthusiasts of all ages, courtesy of Lone Star Flight Museum.

New exhibits, special events, camps, scout classes, visiting aircraft, flight experiences and many other experiences will fill the days of summer at the Lone Star Flight Museum. Now through Labor Day, the museum has a flight plan for fun for the entire family.

Visiting F-16 Falcon Fighter Jet and Hangar Talk

Summer Block Party - LEGO® Day at LSFM

– Sat., June 17 – 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

LEGO displays, build your own LEGO masterpiece from bins filled with thousands of bricks, and the littles can play with jumbo block too at this Block Party. Aviation-themed building kits are available in LSFM Gift Shop. Retired NASA Astronaut and Mayor of Friendswood, Mike Foreman will give talk about his life and work in space! And make a cool Father’s Day card for dad!

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – LEGO displays and activities.

11 a.m. – Hangar Talk with NASA Astronaut Mike Foreman.

Summer Scout Merit Badge Classes & Youth Overnights

The LSFM offers Aviation, Electronics, Engineering, Weather, and American Heritage merit badges for Scouts BSA and badges for American Heritage Girls. Don’t miss overnight events inside our museum hangars. Classes are scheduled throughout the summer.

Summer Camps @ LSFM – Few Spots Still Open – New Camps!

New camps highlight this season! Aero Derby Dash, Fly Girls and Go Zero G join the roster of Pilot Maker, Crafty Aircraft and Aces and Legends this summer. All jam packed with aircraft tours, hands-on activities, flight simulators and more. Camps are held Monday through Friday and are open to kids 8-14 years old.

Summer camps started June 12 and run through Aug. 4.
