Sugar Frk, located at 314 Gray Street in Midtown, is the latest offering from Chef Don Bowie, the creative force behind the iconic flavors at Taste Kitchen + Bar in Downtown Houston. The elegant, French pâtisserie-inspired dessert café offers a wonderfully decadent array of gourmet pastries, donuts, and artistic desserts crafted from scratch by Chef Bowie.

Starting this month, Sugar Frk will be offering hands-on interactive experiences like “Mommy and Me Cookie Decorating”, where moms and kids can get creative and enjoy a fun-filled day of cookie decorating and tea together! Sugar Frk supplies everything needed to dive into the world of delicious and beautiful fall-themed cookie designs this month for a special experience that can create lasting memories.

Sugar Frk will also be offering “The Bomb Cake Experience Cake Decorating Class” in October, inviting guests to unleash their inner pastry artist and learn the art of cake decorating with friends and family! The hands-on class welcomes beginners and seasoned bakers alike, with expert instructors to guide participants through the process of creating stunning cake designs.

The café also offers a delectable array of sugar masterpieces, including custom birthday and wedding cakes, along with frozen daiquiris, Espresso Martinis, boozy ice creams, and a selection of wines, teas, and gourmet coffees crafted by talented baristas!
