U.S. Navy Leaders to Blanket Houston-area Colleges and Schools This Week
Seeking top students for STEM careers and $180,000 scholarships

Navy leaders will have a strong presence in the Houston area this week, visiting numerous high schools and universities throughout the area in search of future Sailors who have what it takes to excel in high-demand STEM fields, such as nuclear engineering, cryptology, IT, and health care. The Navy also will share information about its $180,000 ROTC Scholarship Program, which pays full college tuition and fees for students with exceptional academic and leadership credentials.
Navy Divine Nine Ambassadors to Visit Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern Universities
The Navy’s Divine Nine Ambassador program was established last year to build stronger relationships with students, faculty, administration and alumni at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). (Divine Nine refers to the nine sororities and fraternities that were established by African American students more than a century ago). Navy officers, with Divine Nine affiliations, will be on both campuses to discuss Navy opportunities and tell their individual stories.
Navy to Showcase Nimitz SEAL Virtual Reality Experience at Baytown High Schools
