Vandelay Hospitality Group is thrilled to announce its popular concept, Drake’s Hollywood—a lively Hollywood-inspired restaurant and lounge—will open in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood late this November, located at 1100 Westheimer Rd. Additionally, an October date has been set for the opening of the much anticipated Rivers Oaks location for Vandelay’s Hudson House concept. Drake’s and Hudson House have locations in the Highland Park neighborhood of Dallas, and opened in Los Angeles earlier this year—Drake’s in West Hollywood and Hudson House in Beverly Hills.

The third location of Drake’s Hollywood will exude the same enduring charm that put its Dallas and LA locations on the map—reminiscent of the grandeur of the most legendary venues of Hollywood’s Golden Era, seamlessly marrying sophisticated fare and artfully craed cocktails with a vintage and vibrant atmosphere. Drake’s is a versatile sanctuary, whether for intimate evenings or more revelrous gatherings. Cocooned within its amber hues, its sumptuous leather banquettes are upholstered in a deep burgundy shade. The richly layered and nuanced interior exudes a glamorous yet casual elegance, with original artworks adorning the walls, paying homage to Hollywood icons across eras.

The Drake’s food program features premier steaks focused on wagyu and prime cuts of beef, a Melrose cracker-crust pizza section, and crave-able American classics. Cult favorites include the Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice with gochujang and serrano pepper; Ozzy’s Pizza with filet mignon, arugula, sweet onion, truffle oil, and balsamic glaze; the Pasta Za Za, a spicy rigatoni with chili flake and parmesan; a bone-in New York Strip served with classic bearnaise; and the A5 Japanese Wagyu served sliced with white truffle butter. The 24 Layer Strawberry Cake, Cotton Candy Cloud, and Chocolate Silk Pie round out the menu. From the bar, guests experience an expansive and vintage wine selection and meticulously craed cocktails inspired by Hollywood's iconic establishments. Of course, it would not be a Vandelay concept without their famous “World’s Coldest Martinis.” Additional information can be found at drakeshollywood.com.
