Nancy Avila, a new addition to Spring Branch Middle School, swiftly became integral to student safety and well-being. Drawing from her parenting experiences, she instills confidence in parents and nurtures students beyond her law enforcement role. Her journey reflects resilience, reshaping perceptions of law enforcement with compassion and community partnership. Through her bilingualism, Nancy fosters connections, empowering students with resilience and kindness.

Spring Branch ISD School Nutrition Services expressed immense pride in Pine Shadows Elementary for receiving the Breakfast Innovation Award from No Kid Hungry Texas. The team celebrated, recognizing Pine Shadows' implementation of a "grab and go" school breakfast program, which earned them the prestigious award.
