This holiday season, one of Houston’s most uplifting attractions is inviting visitors to elevate their plans—literally. The Balloon Museum, home to Pop Air: Art Is Inflatable, is filling 2501 Commerce St. with larger-than-life whimsy and imaginative design. Spanning more than 65,000 square feet, the exhibition features massive inflatable installations, glowing immersive environments and interactive works created by 14 international artists.

The experience, produced by Italy-based Lux Entertainment, is recognized as the world’s largest showcase dedicated entirely to inflatable art. Guests step into a world where air becomes a medium for creativity, transforming simple shapes into playful, engaging environments meant to be touched, explored and enjoyed. Rather than observing from a distance, visitors are encouraged to interact—making each trip through the exhibit feel personal and full of discovery.

Pop Air has quickly become a seasonal favorite for couples looking to spark a sense of wonder, families hoping to stretch their imaginations and groups seeking a setting that breaks from the ordinary holiday routine. With vibrant color, surprising scale and a touch of childlike delight, the Balloon Museum offers an atmosphere that lifts spirits as easily as it fills its installations.

Open through April 19, 2026, the exhibition invites Houstonians and visitors alike to bring a partner, children, coworkers or simply their own curiosity. This season, the Balloon Museum is offering a reminder that some of the most magical moments are the ones buoyed by creativity—and a bit of air.
