The Nimitz Lady Cougars wrapped up a historic and dominant basketball season, reaching the Regional Semi-Finals and securing the District Championship. Under the leadership of Coach K—who kept her promise to wear a dress in celebration—this team made its mark and set a high standard for future squads.

Season Highlights:
  • Aniah Holmes (#3) reached a major milestone, surpassing 1,000 career points and 500 career assists during the November 4 game.
  • Kira Hubbard (#22) started every game this season while maintaining one of the top two academic spots in her 2025 class.
  • Chloe (#5) found her stride at the Dallas Invitational Girls Tournament, earning the All-Tournament Player Award.
  • Tatiyana Cole (#21) proved to be a rising star, recording four double-doubles this season.
  • Cassi Henderson (#0) made history as the first Nimitz student to commit to Gallaudet University, which serves deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
  • Kamora Lewis (#20) broke barriers as the first in her family to receive an athletic scholarship.
The Lady Cougars showed their strength throughout the season, including a standout performance against Cy Ranch. The varsity squad achieved both of its season goals—winning the district championship and reaching the regional semi-finals—while the junior varsity team remained undefeated in district play.
