U.S. Rep. Al Green is set to host the premiere of a new short documentary highlighting his life and public service this weekend in Houston.

Titled “A Test of Time: An Al Green Story,” the film offers a look at Green’s years in office, focusing on his leadership, persistence and long-standing commitment to the communities he represents. The event will bring together community leaders, faith leaders, elected officials and residents for an exclusive first viewing and reflection on his impact since taking office in 2005.

The premiere is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, at the Fountain of Praise in southwest Houston. Organizers say the documentary captures both Green’s political career and his connection to the community, with supporters expected to attend and share in the experience.

Green, who has represented Texas’ 9th Congressional District for more than two decades, emphasized his continued focus on public service and accountability to constituents as the film debuts.
