Daley Precision Labs celebrates its first anniversary by reflecting on a year of compassionate, patient-centered care inspired by Founder Bridney …

In just one year, Daley Precision Labs has become more than a laboratory—it has become a trusted resource for compassionate healthcare, patient advocacy, and community empowerment in Houston. Founded by healthcare professional and entrepreneur Bridney McBride, the company was built on the belief that every patient deserves timely, accurate care delivered with dignity and compassion.

As Daley Precision Labs celebrates its first anniversary, we sat down with McBride to discuss the journey behind the business, the inspiration that fuels her mission, and the legacy she's building for generations to come.

More Than a Business—A Calling

Every successful entrepreneur has a defining moment, and for McBride, the inspiration behind Daley Precision Labs was both professional and deeply personal.

After spending more than 13 years in healthcare, including serving in a Level I Trauma Center, she witnessed the challenges patients often faced—from delayed test results to limited access to convenient specimen collection services. She knew there had to be a better way.

But her greatest teacher wasn't found inside a hospital—it was her son, Zaire. Born with sickle cell disease, Zaire endured years of blood draws, hospitalizations, treatments, and uncertainty. Experiencing his journey as both a healthcare professional and a mother transformed McBride's perspective on patient care.

"Watching my son navigate sickle cell disease reminded me that behind every lab order, every specimen, and every test result is a family searching for answers, healing, and hope."

That hope became reality when Zaire's younger brother became his bone marrow donor, ultimately curing him of sickle cell disease.

"It was nothing short of a miracle," McBride shares. "That experience reinforced my purpose and reminded me why compassionate healthcare matters."

Those life-changing moments inspired the creation of Daley Precision Labs—a place where science meets empathy and every patient is treated like family.

Building Trust Through Compassion

Trust is the cornerstone of healthcare, and it's the foundation upon which Daley Precision Labs was built. With more than 13 years of industry experience, McBride has established a culture rooted in integrity, accuracy, professionalism, accessibility, and community service. Whether serving individual patients, physicians, employers, schools, or community organizations, the mission remains the same: deliver exceptional laboratory services while making every person feel seen, heard, and cared for.

"Laboratory testing often comes during some of life's most stressful moments. We want every patient to leave knowing they were treated with kindness, respect, and excellence."

Breaking Barriers in Healthcare

As a Black woman entrepreneur in healthcare, McBride understands the importance of representation. Launching Daley Precision Labs from the ground up required faith, resilience, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

One lesson continues to guide her journey:

"Your purpose will always be greater than your obstacles."

That mindset has allowed her to build more than a laboratory—it has created opportunities to educate future healthcare professionals, strengthen community partnerships, and increase access to quality healthcare throughout Houston.

Creating Impact Beyond the Lab

While Daley Precision Labs offers a wide range of laboratory and occupational health services, McBride is especially passionate about preventive healthcare, patient education, and workforce development.

From laboratory testing that helps detect health conditions early to CPR certification courses that equip individuals to save lives, every service is designed with one goal in mind—creating healthier communities.

The company's nationally accredited phlebotomy training program also reflects its commitment to investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals.

For McBride, however, the work remains deeply personal.

"Every blood draw represented hope for my son. Every test result helped guide life-changing medical decisions. That experience shaped the way we care for every patient who walks through our doors."

Looking Toward the Future

As Daley Precision Labs enters its second year, McBride's vision extends far beyond Houston.

Over the next five years, she plans to expand partnerships with hospitals, physician practices, employers, schools, government agencies, and community organizations while growing Daley Precision Labs into one of Texas' leading independent laboratories and occupational health providers.

Equally important is continuing to expand educational programs that prepare future healthcare professionals while promoting preventive care throughout underserved communities.

When asked what legacy she hopes to leave, her answer is simple yet powerful:

"I want Daley Precision Labs to be remembered as a business that truly cared for people, created opportunities, invested in the community, and made healthcare more accessible for every individual and every family we served."

The Essence of Daley Precision Labs

As Daley Precision Labs celebrates one year of service, one thing is abundantly clear: this isn't simply a business built on laboratory testing—it's a mission built on compassion, purpose, and hope.

Because at Daley Precision Labs, every specimen tells a story, every patient matters, and every act of compassionate care has the power to change a life.

"At Daley Precision Labs, we believe every specimen represents a person, every patient has a story, every family deserves hope, and compassionate healthcare has the power to change lives."

As part of its first anniversary celebration and ongoing commitment to community wellness, Daley Precision Labs will host a Community Blood Drive on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The event will bring together residents, local businesses, and community partners for an afternoon dedicated to giving the gift of life in celebration of their one year anniversary. Attendees can expect vendor booths, free swag, health resources, community engagement, and more, all while supporting a cause that has the power to save lives.

For Founder Bridney McBride and Office Manager Carmen Dunn, the blood drive is more than an event—it's an extension of Daley Precision Labs' mission to promote preventive healthcare, strengthen community partnerships, and inspire others to make a meaningful impact.
