Wags and Whiskers 2026 brings Houston’s furriest superheroes to the runway to support IM Houston’s Animeals program for homebound seniors …

Houston’s most stylish pets and their devoted humans will suit up for a cause at the 13th Annual Wags and Whiskers Luncheon and Pet Fashion Show, set for Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Ballroom at Bayou Place. The beloved annual event benefits IM Houston’s Animeals program, which provides pet food and essential supplies to more than 1,000 pets belonging to homebound seniors enrolled in IM Houston’s Meals on Wheels program.

With the theme “Superheroes Unleashed!”, the afternoon will celebrate compassion, community, and four-legged companions through a lively celebrity pet fashion show produced by Todd Ramos, a festive luncheon, a silent auction, and a lineup of heroic surprises. The event will be led by Luncheon Chairs Chaun and Derrick Vaughn.

The program will also recognize Elizabeth “Chrissy” Tate, a longtime Animeals supporter and volunteer who delivers pet food monthly to seniors, honoring her continued dedication to animals and the Houston community. The event will be emceed by podcast host Amanda Sapp, with special recognition for Super Paw Sponsors Linh and Fred G. Marshall.

Funds raised support Animeals, a critical program that ensures seniors never have to choose between feeding themselves and caring for their beloved pets. By keeping pets healthy and at home, Animeals helps seniors maintain companionship, stability, and independence.

Guests can purchase individual tickets or reserve tables of eight or ten, which include additional benefits to support the program. Sponsorship opportunities range from Super Paw Sponsor at $25,000 to individual ticket levels beginning at $250, offering multiple ways for animal lovers to make an impact.

With capes, paws, and purpose, Wags and Whiskers 2026 invites the community to be the superheroes Houston’s pets and seniors need.
