As grocery prices continue to stretch household budgets, one major retailer is rolling out a week of deep discounts aimed at helping shoppers save on everyday essentials.

The grocery chain The Kroger Co. has announced the return of its annual Customer Appreciation Week, offering storewide savings and limited-time daily deals from March 11 through March 17.

According to company officials, the event is designed to give shoppers access to some of the retailer’s most popular promotions of the year — just as many families prepare for spring break, seasonal celebrations, and warmer-weather gatherings.

“Customer Appreciation Week is one of our biggest savings events of the year, featuring can’t-miss deals, special offers and exclusive discounts for our customers,” said Rudy DiPietro, president of Kroger’s Texas Division. “Whether families are preparing for spring celebrations or stocking up for spring break, Kroger is committed to helping them save on items they enjoy most.”

Major grocery savings across the store

Throughout the week, shoppers will find discounts on both Kroger’s private-label brands and national favorites across several departments.

Among the featured deals:

  • Kroger eggs for $0.99
  • 50% off cakes
  • Buy one, get one free on bagged salads and frozen shrimp
  • 10% off Simple Truth and Private Selection products
  • 10% off all home goods and apparel
  • 25% off sun care products

Many of these deals focus on items commonly used for family meals, outdoor gatherings, and spring travel preparation.

Surprise “Daily Deal Drops”

In addition to the advertised savings, Kroger will release Daily Deal Drops each day during the promotion. These limited-time offers will only be available for one day and must be clipped through the Kroger website, the Kroger mobile app, or requested at checkout.

Customers will have until March 20 to redeem those deals once they are added to their accounts.

The company says the surprise discounts are meant to give shoppers additional ways to stretch their grocery budgets during a time when many households are closely watching spending.

Flexible ways to shop

Customers can access the discounts whether they shop in-store or online through Kroger’s website and mobile app. Orders can be placed for pickup at local stores or delivered to homes, sometimes in as little as 30 minutes.

Kroger also offers delivery through third-party platforms such as DoorDash and Uber Eats, allowing customers to order groceries directly from their neighborhood store.

Shoppers enrolled in Boost by Kroger Plus, the company’s membership program, can receive additional benefits including double fuel points, exclusive discounts, and grocery delivery on qualifying orders.

With grocery costs still a concern for many households, Kroger officials say the goal of Customer Appreciation Week is simple: helping customers get the food and products they need without sacrificing quality or value.

Customers can view the full list of deals and daily promotions beginning March 11 at Kroger’s Customer Appreciation Week website.
