DC Studios is giving fans their first thrilling look at its next big-screen superhero with the release of the official trailer for Supergirl — and it’s already generating major buzz ahead of its summer debut.

Starring Milly Alcock in the dual role of Kara Zor-El and Supergirl, the film introduces a powerful new chapter in the DC universe. Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, the movie promises a bold and visually striking take on one of DC’s most iconic heroines.

Alcock is joined by a standout supporting cast that includes Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa, adding even more star power to the highly anticipated release.

The film is produced by DC Studios leaders Peter Safran and James Gunn, and is based on the beloved DC character Supergirl, originally created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
