Emancipation Park Debuts Multi-Million Dollar Renovation
One hundred forty-five years after it first opened in Houston’s Third Ward, the historic Emancipation Park is officially ready to debut its multi-million renovation. On June 17 and 18 as the park plays hosts to the Juneteenth Fest, the community is invited to $33 million project that was led by architect Phil Freelon.
