Albany community advocate Debbie McDonald, left, finally got the chance to meet Donna Wehking last month during Wehking's brief visit to Albany. The two women have a common bond in that McDonald received a new pancreas in 2005 from Wehking's daughter, Misty Yorek Kinnear, following a fatal car accident.
