AARP Texas invites local eligible organizations and governments across the country to apply for the 2023 AARP Community Challenge grant program, now through March 15 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern. Charles Ray Guidry Jr. of San Marcos has been selected by AARP, the nonprofit organization for people age 50 and older, to receive a 2022 AARP Texas Andrus Award for Community Service, the association’s most prestigious honor for a volunteer in Texas.
