Photography by Vicky Pink - On Monday, April 22, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Power Center for the Who’s Who In Black Houston Unveiling Program and Networking Reception. The highly sought after publication showcases some of Houston’s most notable, influential African Americans’ stories and accomplishments. This year, Who’s Who was excited to have the support of Yolanda Adams, Grammy award winning artist, entrepreneur and philanthropist, who penned the publication’s foreword. State Representative Sylvester Turner also penned the introduction. The current Who’s Who in Black Houston is the seventh edition of the publication. Some in attendance at the reception were Jerome Love, Bridgette Joe, Miss Houston 2013 Zoe Cadore, Congressman Al Green, Kim Roxie, Byron Lundy, Houston City Councilman Larry Green, Pastors Mia and Remus Wright, Dr. M. Annette Cluff, Rhonda Arnold, Lynn Page, State Rep. Ron Reynolds, Jarvis and Charlene Johnson, Carl Davis, Isiah Carey, Kandi Eastman, Mary Sias, Benjamin Floyd, and Congressman Sheila Jackson Lee.
