Photography by Roswitha Vogler - On Monday, August 19, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Riverbend County Club in Sugar Land, TX as the University of Houston Cougars Athletic Alliance hosted their 7th Annual UHCAA Golf Challenge. The UHCAA seeks to strengthen the relationship between alumni, students, and the University of Houston while reuniting former student-athletes and friends. Proceeds benefit the UHCAA Student Scholarship Fund. Golfers had smiles on their faces as they played a round of golf for a worthwhile endeavor. Following the Golf Challenge, sponsors, players, supporters, and notable UH alumni got to see who had the biggest bragging rights at the Awards & Sponsor Recognition Luncheon replete with the announcement of winners of the Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Tiger Drive contests. Some in attendance were Olympian Carl Lewis and Dr. Elwyn Lee.
