On Friday, May 17, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Continental Club as Mayor Annise Parker celebrated her 57th Birthday. Happy Birthday Mayor!!!! Mayor Parker turned her birthday bash into a campaign fundraiser for her re-election campaign to be Houston’s Mayor under the theme “Houston’s the best. Let’s make it better.” Some in attendance were Mary Joyce Archie Gilford, Heather Michelle Persinger, Kevin Hanratty, Anthony W. Morris, Yolanda Navarro, Harry Johnson, Justin Switzer, John Kuhl, Sue and Greg Lewis, Sharon and Chas Haynes, Candice and Lonnie Schiller, Carole Dickenson, Val Perkins, Derrick Mitchell, Claire Smith and Russell Murrell, Monica Pope, Adrian Patterson, Nina and Michael Zilkha, Pete Gordon, Lane and Bob Schultz, and Cindy and Andy Lubetkin.
