Photography by Vicky Pink On Sunday, April 27, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hilton Americas Hotel for the Ivy Educational and Charitable Foundation of Houston, Inc. 33rd Annual Scholarship Luncheon and Fashion Show. Sharron Melton hosted the signature fundraiser of the foundation and honors distinguished Houstonians who have excelled in their chosen careers and greatly contributed to the community. In addition, the affair helps to raise funds for scholarships for deserving high school and college students. The 2014 honorees are Houston Style’s own Francis Page, Jr., Keith J. Davis, Sr., Karen Franklin, Dr. Joanie Hare, Karen Eubanks Jackson, Darryl King, and Kathy Taylor. Some in attendance were IEACF President LaDonna Harris, event general chair L. Rene Lowe, Cherise Story, Regina Carrington, DeMonica Johnson, Marianne Walker, Pam Lazard, Lucy Bremond, Kelly Hodges, Houston City Councilman Dwight Boykins, Davina Horace, Kim Carter, Mary Gordon, Laura Allen, and Genevieve Rousseve.
