Photography by Vicky Pink On Friday, May 30, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Houston Baptist University for the inaugural commencement for Energized for STEM Academy, Inc. The class of 2014 celebrated as they crossed the stage to receive their high school diploma. City Controller Ronald Green gave the class some inspirational for their bright futures. Zachery King was recognized as the HISD’s Board of Education Outstanding Young Man for his excellence in character, scholarship, leadership and service. Others celebrating with the new graduates were Argentina James, Paula Harris, Sheriff Adrian Garcia, Tamicha Jackson, and Dr. Shavon Clark.
