Photography by Vicky Pink On Wednesday, June 11, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand as little Khyrstin “Kyssi” Andrews became an honorary officer of the Houston Police Department. HPD Chief Charles A. McClelland, Jr. did the honors himself of swearing Kyssi in. Being a HPD officer was one of Kyssi’s dreams. Kyssi was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2012. Since then she has gone in remission and has been re-diagnose with the same form of cancer four times. The community is asked to continue to pray for the health of Kyssi, the strength of her mother, and all those taking care of her.
