Photography by Semetra Samuel On Thursday, June 12, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Minute Maid Park as Grammy Award-wining artist Drake kicked off his three-day Houston Appreciation Weekend (HAW). Before the Houston Astros took on the Arizona Diamondbacks, Drake hosted over 50 kids from the Astros Urban Youth Academy and Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities for a pregame meet and greet complete with dinner and game tickets. Fans who were lucky enough to get seats in the special Drake section at the stadium received exclusive Houston Appreciation Night t-shirts, with a portion of each ticket sale benefitting a local charity of Drake's choosing. Additionally, Drake raffled off five different autographed Astros gift packs, with all proceeds going towards the Astros Foundation.
