Photography by Vicky Pink - On Saturday, March 8, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Greater Grace Outreach Church for celebration of life service for Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church’s Minister of Music Henry “Hanq” Neal. More than just a local musician, the Grammy nominated artist was a musical genius. Many gathered to pay their respects to Hanq Neal and help the family of Neal struggling with his loss. Some in attendance were Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Al Green, Leon Lewis, Rev. Remus Wright, Dr. Rod Paige, State Rep. Rodney Ellis, State Rep. Borris Miles, Houston City Councilman Dwight Boykins, V. Michael McKay, Rev. William A. Lawson, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Rev. Kirbyjon Caldwell, Melanie Lawson, Rev. Terry Mackey, the clergy of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, Rev. Marcus D. Cosby and family.
