Photography by Vicky Pink On Saturday, November 15, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at JW Marriott Houston Downtown for the 2014 United Negro College Fund Gala. The annual affair is a major fundraiser for UNCF. All proceeds help fund the numerous scholarships the organizations gives to students yearly. Many gathered to support UNCF, enjoy food & fellowship and hear the sounds of EnVogue. Helen George was presented with the Excellence in Education award. Dr. Reagan Flowers received the John & Drucie Chase Young Builders award. Some in attendance were Pauline Higgins (Co-Honorary Chair), Bruce J.
