Photography by Vicky Pink On Friday, September 26, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand In Washington D.C. during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation 44th Annual Legislative Weekend for the Meet and Match Procurement Forum hosted by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. The event was entitled “Minority Suppliers Doing Business with the Public and Private Sector.” The forum was designed to have minority suppliers learn firsthand the process to win both private and public contracts and market their products and services. Some in attendance were Don Sturdivant, Goodwille Pierre, Kevin Durkin, David Loines, Phyllis Meyer, Sheila Brooks, Brenda Burke and Lance Gilliam.
