Photography by Vicky Pink On Thursday, September 25, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Josephine’s Restaurant for the official state of Texas Congressional Black Caucus Reception during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation 44th Annual Legislative Weekend. Congressional members Sheila Jackson Lee, Al Green, Eddie Bernice Johnson, and Marc Veasey were honored guests. Hosting the event were Shekira Dennis, John Guess IV, James Donatto II, Sankaya Hall, Tashon Thomas, Elijah Williams & Michele Scurry, Damien Thaddeus, Ashley Baker, Cameron Trimble, Nick Johnson, Frank North, Pharm.D., Sankaya Hall, Brian McCoy, Bronson Elliott-Woods and Zoe Cadore. Some in attendance were City Controller Ronald Green, Shekira Dennis, Goodwille Pierre, Gerald Womack and Judge Fredericka Allen Petry.
