On Saturday, October 11, 2024, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Royal Sonesta Hotel for the Sisters Network Inc. 2014 Pink Angel Awards Luncheon and Style Show. Haute Couture fashions from Elizabeth Anthony were shown with models wearing makeup by LAMIK. The pink affair was spearheaded by Gerald and Anita Smith, Caleen Allen, and Shawntell McWilliams. The 2014 honorees were Kandi Eastman, Yolanda Green, Bettie Eubanks, Paula Harris, Arvia Few, Vanessa Reed, Judy Foston, Dr. Angel Rodriguez, The Honorable Al Green, and Beverly Vote. Others participating on the program were Khambrel Marshall, Zelma Watkins, and Erie Calloway.
