A huge announcement was made about the future of Houston Community College. They are changing the way the colleges are run and introduced the Centers of Excellence. Some in attendance were Luz Flores, Richard Shaw, Edward Price, Edgar Colon, Roland Chavez, Charles White, Cherise Roberts, Dr. Robert Bostic, Gordon Quan, Nellie Fraga, Linda Toyota, Sheriff Adrian Garcia, Elizabeth Seymour, Pam Lovett, Frances Dyess, Lolita Guerrero, Sister Mignonne, Bob Loisseau, Trustee Eva Loredo, Peter Beard, Gina Luna, Charles Smith, Grady Prestage, Dr. Rhea Lawson, Wanda Adams, Gerald Womack, James Ward, and Carl Davis.
