Photography by Vicky Pink On Friday, April 17, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the BBVA Compass Tower for the State of Housing in Black America Solution for Texas event. Hosted by the Houston Black Real Estate Association, the event was themed “Building a Rich Legacy of Inclusion and Educating for the Future.” The business networking reception and educational forum featured C. Renee Wilson, Pamela Jolley, Andrea Cooksey, Shad Bogany, Anthony Hutchinson, Mark Lehman, Dr. Stephen L. Klineberg, Latisha Grant, Joe Douglas Webb, and Denise Kelley. Special guests were Donnell Spivey, president of NAREB, and John L. Guess III, president of HBREA.
