Photography by Vicky Pink - On Thursday, August 20, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Omni Hotel – Galleria for the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc.’s Youth Academy. The academy was a 3-day conference for youth ages 7-18 and had the goal of bringing out the leader in each person. During the last day of the academy, youth attendees participated in a workshops presented by Home Depot and Legos representatives. Students were inspired by the words of former Essence Editor Susan L. Taylor and former Houston Rocket Robert Horry. The culminating activity of the entire academy was the graduation ceremony that featured Carroll Robinson.
