Photography by Vicky Pink - On Thursday, December 10, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Poindexter Dental Inc. as it was declared a historically protected landmark. In 1956, Dr. Zeb F. Poindexter Jr. opened his fully comprehensive care clinic treating as many as 30 patients a day. Now Poindexter Dental, Inc. continues to be a thriving practice run by Dr. Zeb Poindexter III. Poindexter Dental, Inc. is the first historically protected landmark in Sunnyside. Jazz recording artist Donna Scott provided entertainment. State Rep. Alma A. Allen presented Dr. Poindexter with congratulatory recognition.
