Photography by Vicky Pink - On Saturday, December 19, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at The Match Theater for a private screening of the movie Concussion. The film tells the story of forensic pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu (Will Smith) who discovers neurological deterioration that is similar to Alzheimer's disease in American football players. He names the disorder chronic traumatic encephalopathy. After the screening of the film, a Q&A session was held with the real life Dr. Bennet Omalu and Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje, who also stars in the film. Some in attendance were Matthew Knowles, Vernita Harris, Carl Davis, Miya Shay, State Rep. Gene Wu, and City Councilwoman-elect Amanda Edwards.
