On Sunday, February 1, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the University Museum at Texas Southern University for a reception in honored of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. Congresswoman Lee was showered with love and appreciation for her 20 years of service to the 18th Congressional District of Texas. The event also celebrated the Congresswoman’s birthday. Congresswoman Lee said her heart was full by all the show of support from her family and friends. Some in attendance were Erica Lee Carter, Dr. Elwyn Lee, Rep. Ron Reynolds, Dr. Jonita Reynolds, Senator Rodney Ellis, Licia Ellis, Marina Coryat, Dr. John Rudley, Dr. Dorcia Rudley, J Xavier, Kim Roxie, Judson Robinson, Carl Davis, Melanie Covington, Gerald Womack, Barbara Anderson, Georgia Provost, Ernest Walker, and Houston City Councilmen Larry Green and Dwight Boykins.
