On February 6-8, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Houston African Film Festival hosted by the Houston Museum of African American Culture (HMAAC) and Silicon Valley African Film Festival (SVAFF). The festival gave attendees a better understanding and appreciation of Africa and Africans through moving images. The festival showcased films from various African countries across the continent, presenting a mix of feature film, shorts, documentaries and animations from Africa’s seasoned and emerging first-voice filmmakers.
