On Saturday February 14, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand as the World Youth Foundation, Inc. (WYF) and Youth Innovative Incubator Program (YIIP) hosted its annual Innovation Entrepreneur Lab for youth. This year’s theme was “STEM with a Heart”, focused on innovations that enhance our communities. Students teamed up with Microsoft and other technologists to engineer a Concept Ideation Model for their startup company or business idea focused. Through Storyboarding techniques, students worked to bring their businesses and entrepreneurial ideas to life. During the presentations, each company raised money to further their development or for a local charity. The Youth Innovative Incubator Program (YIIP) is powered by Houston Parks & Recreation Department, HEB, Microsoft Corporation, Arka Tech, LLC, Fuzion Apps, OutsideIn Consulting, just to name a few.
