Photography by Vicky Pink - On Saturday, May 30, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Houston Baptist University at Dunham Theater for the Energized for STEM Academy, Inc. Commencement Ceremony. Several members of the class of 2015 reflected on their past, present and future in speeches that captured the essence of the graduating class. Dr. Reo Pruiett gave the commencement address. Dr. Shavon Clark, George Pope and Thomas Liu presented the graduates and conferred diplomas. V. Michael McKay provided musical entertainment. Some in attendance were Founder and Head of Schools, ESTEM, Lois Bullock, Rev. Dr. Patricia Williams, Judge Vanessa Gilmore, Briana Myles, Jonathan Oviawe, Elijah Harris, Jaquelin Aroujo, Dr. George Fair, Dr. Laura Murillo, John Gearhart, Detria Ward, Monchelle Simmons, Kathryn McCoy, Honorable Roderick Page, Honorable Paula Harris, City Councilman Dwight Boykins, Honorable Adrian Garcia and Dr. Opal Brandy.
