Photography by Vicky Pink - On Friday, June 5, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Gulf Coast Community Services Association for the Gulf Coast Marrow Donor Program’s 90 Day Challenge Kickoff. State Rep. Ron Reynolds and Dr. Jonita Reynolds challenged 1,000 Houstonians to sign up to save a life by registering with Be the Match between June 1 – August 29, 2015 as the registry is critically low for African Americans needing to find a matching donor. Joining this registry will help those waiting for bone marrow transplants. Some in attendance were Constable Ruben Davis, Sharon Davis, and Cynthia Brooks Nickerson.
