Photography by Vicky Pink - On Saturday, May 2, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Westin-Memorial City for the 61st Annual Awards Gala for the University of Houston Alumni Association. The gala regularly recognizes UH alumni for their exemplary work. Ken Bailey, Aylwin Lewis, Rushion McDonald, Dominic Ng, and Bill Worrell were honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award. Drue DaSilva and John T. McNabb were named Outstanding Volunteers. Robert Flores was given the Rising Star Award for Achievement. Laurie Rutherford received the Distinguished Service Award. Others in attendance were UH President Renu Khator, UHAA President Joe Pogge, Henry Darragh, Mike Pede, Dr. Elwyn Lee, and Jalene Mack.
