Photography by Vicky Pink - On Thursday, May 7, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Unity Bank for a business reception hosted by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee for Chairman and President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States Fred P. Hochberg . Earlier in the day Congresswoman Lee, representatives from the Greater Houston Partnership, Hispanic Chamber and business leaders toured several areas around Houston with Chairman Hochberg. The purpose of his visit was to push Texas for the reauthorization of the Export Import bank. Export Import Bank enables U.S. companies to turn export opportunities into real sales that help to maintain and create U.S. jobs and contributes to a stronger national economy. Congresswoman Lee and Chairman and President Hochberg discussed how the Export-Import Bank could empower Houston businesses especially small businesses.
