Photography by Vicky Pink - On Friday, October 30, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Hilton Americas Houston Hotel for the 2015 NAACP Houston Branch’s Freedom Fund Advocacy and Awards Gala. Now in their 97th year, the gala is a celebration of the achievements of the branch’s past year. Anthony W. Hall Jr. was honored with the "Mickey Leland Humanitarian Award." Some in attendance were Larry Jones, Rev. Reginald Lillie, Howard Jefferson, James Douglas, Claude Cummings Jr., Taft Foley, the Honorable Alexander Green, Sarah Guidry, Marvin Nathan, and Carol Mims Galloway.
