Photography by Mike Munoz - On Friday, October 30, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Texas Southern University as COLABS and the Department of History hosted #BlackLivesMatter with special guest speaker IIyasah Shabazz. The author, lecturer, activist and daughter of Malcolm X & Dr. Betty Shabazz presented two lectures at the university to packed crowds to give them a better understanding of their lives in relationship to human mortality and purpose. It was a memorable experience at TSU and the Houston metropolitan area.
