Photography by Vicky Pink - On Saturday, November 21, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hilton Americas for the 27th annual UNCF “A Mind Is …” Gala. Chaired by Doug & Sarah Foshee and Colleen Dippel & Laurie Vignaud, the affair is the signature fundraiser for UNCF. Ann Best and Gerald & Anita Smith were honored for scholarship, community service and leadership. Jeffrey Osborne provided the entertainment. Some in attendance were UNCF President & CEO Dr. Michael L. Lomax, UNCF Area Development Director Juana Collins, Gina Gatson, Khambrel Marshall, Dr. Joe Samuel Ratliff, John & Drucie Chase Young, Angelica Erazo, and Jeffrey Webber.
