Photography by Vicky Pink - On Friday, September 25, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hilton Houston Post Oak as the Texas Spring Cypress Chapter of The Links, Inc. hosted their 20th Anniversary Scholarships and Programs MasKerade Ball. Celebrating “A Journey of Excellence, A Legacy of Service, and A Lifetime of Friendship,” the ladies honored The Honorable Sylvester Turner with the Decade of Service award; Chevron with the Corporate Partner of the Year award; President of the HISD Board of Education Rhonda Skillern-Jones with the Education Partner of the Year award. Prairie View A&M University and Texas Southern University both donated $10,000 each for scholarships. Some in attendance were Cary and Judge Clarease Rankin Yates, Judy Foston, Michelle Evans, Mary Benton, Judge Al Bennett, City Controller Ron Green, Argentina James, James Ward, State Rep. Borris Miles, the Honorable Sylvester Turner, Judson Robinson III, Carroll Robinson, Laurie Robinson, Lucy Anderson, Jerome Gray, Jonita Reynolds, State Rep. Ron Reynolds, Rhonda Arnold, Jacqueline Smith and Charlene James.
