Photography by Vicky Pink - On Monday, August 31, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Pyburn’s Farm Fresh Foods as Mayor Annise Parker became the first customer to purchase Blue Bell Ice Cream. Joining Mayor Parker were representatives from Blue Bell Creameries and Pyburn’s owner, John Vuong. As part of a 5-phase plan Blue Bell Creameries put ice cream back on store shelves on Monday, August 31st. Phase 1 brought Blue Bell home to its roots with stores located in Houston, Brenham and Austin.
